Return and Refund Policy

At containersvent.com, we want to ensure your transaction is transparent and reliable. Because shipping intermodal containers involves complex international logistics, please review our structured policy regarding returns, cancellations, and modifications below.

1. Return Window & Eligibility

  • 90-Day Policy: We offer a 90-day return window starting from the date the container is officially delivered to your specified destination.

  • Condition Requirement: To be eligible for a return after delivery, the container must be empty, free of any hazardous residue or cargo debris, structurally unaltered, and in the same physical condition as it was upon delivery.

2. Cancellations & Refund Structure

  • Cancellations Before Shipment: If you request a cancellation before your container is loaded onto the transport vessel or delivery vehicle at our origin yard, you are eligible for a Full Refund.

  • Cancellations After Shipment: Once the container has been loaded or has departed the origin yard, cancellations cannot be automatically accepted.

    • If the container is still logistically accessible (e.g., at the origin port awaiting departure), we may issue a Partial Refund minus any incurred fees, such as terminal storage, administrative processing, or localized transport costs.

    • If the container is already in transit, you must wait for the container to be delivered to the destination and then initiate a formal return process.

  • Refund Processing Time: Once an eligible refund is approved, the funds will be credited back to your original method of payment within 7 to 10 business days.

3. Return Shipping & Costs

  • Responsibility for Return Costs: If you choose to return a container post-delivery for reasons unrelated to structural defects or order errors (e.g., buyer’s remorse or change of mind), the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for the return transport back to our nearest designated depot.

  • Restocking Fees: We do not charge hidden restocking fees, but all logistics and crane/drayage handling fees incurred during the return drop-off are the responsibility of the customer.

4. Modifications

  • Before Shipment: Changes to your shipment details (such as destination port, delivery address, or container grading specs) are permissible prior to loading, though they may be subject to a minor administrative modification fee depending on the carrier.

  • After Shipment: Due to rigid international logistical constraints, routing or detail modifications cannot be performed once the container is in transit.

5. Damaged Goods & Delivery Issues

  • During Transit: Physical damage occurring during ocean or rail transit is covered via cargo insurance. We highly recommend securing insurance prior to departure. We will provide full documentation and administrative support to help you successfully file a claim with your insurance provider.

  • Upon Arrival Inspection: You must inspect the container immediately upon delivery. If you discover structural defects or damage that violates the grading terms of your purchase contract, you must note the damage on the delivery receipt and report it to us within 3 to 7 days of arrival so we can initiate an immediate resolution or exchange.
